The Wiener Library is Britain’s largest and most extensive library and archive on the Holocaust and Nazi era. Its unique collections are open to everybody, free of charge, and provide an unrivalled resource for teaching about the Holocaust, its causes and legacies.
Last year, the Library moved to new premises in 29 Russell Square, London, and received a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to establish a small exhibition area and to extend and develop its education and outreach programming.
We would like to hear your views on how we can best use our collections to support your work. To this end, we are holding a
Teachers’ Focus Group at the Library on
Wednesday 14th March 2012 at 5.30pm. If you are a teacher, we would be delighted if you, or any of your colleagues, would like to attend. This is a great opportunity for us to build links with local schools and sixth forms and to find out how we can enable educators to access and use our unique collections.
If you are interested in attending, or would like to share your views on our future plans, please email
learning@wienerlibrary.co.uk or call 020 7636 7247.
