SUDETENDEUTSCHEPARTEI (HENLEIN): VARIOUS DOCUMENTS, 1940s

INTRODUCTION

The provenance of this microfilm collection of correspondence and papers relating to the Sudetendeutschepartei is unknown.

The microfilm quality is very poor with the result that most of the documents are barely legible.

The Sudetendeutschepartei (originally the Sudetendeutsche Heimatfront) was founded by Konrad Henlein in 1933. This was a right wing nationalist party, which in later years became more radical and was ultimately taken over by the Nazis. Henlein, himself, became Gauleiter for the region and was tried for war crimes.

All of the material is in German.
