Become a Friend of The Wiener Library

The Friends of The Wiener Library are a critical group of our supporters.

Our Friends commit to a monthly or annual donation. Thanks to the regular and unrestricted funding provided by our Friends, The Wiener Library can continue its core work. This includes:

  • Holding free public events and exhibitions
  • Caring for our unique collections
  • Recording survivors’ stories for future generations
  • Helping families trace lost relatives
  • Supporting Holocaust education in the UK
  • Offering a resource to oppose antisemitism and other forms of prejudice
  • Expanding our collections on contemporary genocide

Friends will receive our monthly e-newsletter and invitations to special events.

Gift Aid Declaration

Increase your gift by 25% at no extra cost to you.

If you are a UK taxpayer, the value of your gift can be increased by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme by allowing The Wiener Library to reclaim basic rate tax.

I am a UK tax payer and I would like The Wiener Library to treat all donations I have made since 2008 and all future donations that I make from the date of this declaration as Gift Aid donations. I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand The Wiener Library will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I have given.

This is to prevent automatic submissions.
