29 Russell Square: The New Home of the Wiener Library
In Summer 2011, the Wiener Library moved from its home for over 50 years in Devonshire Street, W1, to newly refurbished premises in Russell Square.  The move offers the Library significantly improved storage for the collections and better reading facilities, as well as a new public space to showcase material and hold events.

The Library has now re-located to Russell Square, and we are in the process of preparing the building for readers and installing our new exhibition area on the ground floor.

New Building Fund
The total cost of the Library's relocation to 29 Russell Square will be in the region of £5 million including the purchase of a 99-year lease, refurbishment of the building and the development of the Library's work in the new premises.

To fulfil our vision we need your help.  The Library wishes to raise funds from corporations and charitable foundations, as well as from our own community.

If you think you might be able to help with our fundraising, please contact Bridget McGing at the Library.
